HOUSTON, TX – October 2, 2007 –  “It’s not easy getting Bill Gates’ blessing when you want to be Vista-certified,” says Henri Morris a Houston CPA whose industry-specific wholesale food accounting software recently passed muster with Microsoft.

Edible Software is a Windows-based inventory control, costing, sales and accounting package coded specifically for the wholesale food distribution industry.

As president and CEO of Edible Software, Morris says his company will launch a Vista-compatible version of the software package at the 2007 Fresh Summit Expo to be held at Houston’s George R. Brown Convention Center October 12-15. “Fresh Summit is an ideal venue to introduce this new version of our software,” says Morris. “It will enjoy maximum exposure because this is – hands-down – the world’s largest gathering of wholesale produce distributors.” More than 17,000 people are expected to attend the international trade show, he says.

HOUSTON, August 12, 2007 – A Houston forensic computer expert launched a new website today.  The specialized IT pro works with some of Houston’s top private investigators to help desperate married clients find an answer to the painful question:

“Is my husband (or wife) having an affair?”

Gary Huestis says the new website gives an easy-to-understand overview of his company’s digital discovery services. Called eDiscovery Forensics, Inc., the Houston company focuses on the new 21st century science of computer forensics – the recovery of deleted, damaged and otherwise hidden computer information. “This is the type of intelligence spouses want and need to know when a mate is unfaithful and divorce is in the picture,” he says.

HOUSTON, TX, July 9, 2007 – A Houston SEO company launched a new website today that outlines new services and improved pricing for “the little guy out there who knows he needs SEO but doesn’t know where to turn or who to trust or how he’ll ever afford it,” says Steve Lawrence, owner of Neostead, a north Houston search engine marketing business.

Lawrence says Neostead’s niche is small Houston companies. “These are hardworking, informed men and women who know the importance of marketing. They’ve heard about SEO, they heard about what it can do – but every time they start to make a move, all they encounter is conflicting information mixed with grandiose promises. They don’t know who to trust – and if they did – they think they’d never be able to afford it.”

The article, by New York publisher Jack O’Dwyer, appeared in his watchdog newsletter, “O’Dyer’s PR Report,” and focuses on PR veteran Leonard Saffir whose recently-published book cautions companies in need of public relations services to “go with a small or medium-sized firm and stay away from the giants.”

“PR On a Budget,” is a 242-page book ($18.95) published by Kaplan in New York.
