HOUSTON, TX, December 10, 2007 – It’s not always easy being a family expatriated by a corporate relocation, a military transfer, a missionary assignment, a diplomatic move or an overseas educational opportunity. In fact – more often than not – it’s a huge challenge for parents and children alike which requires support from many fronts.

That’s the topic of the 10th Annual Families in Global Transition International Conference at the Omni Houston Hotel, March 6-8. The conference theme is: Supporting the Family: Accomplishing the Assignment.

The conference is a grass-roots “think tank” for internationally mobile families.

HOUSTON, TX – October 3, 2007 – Twenty-two area Massage Envy clinics raised $61,704.96 on Massage for the Cure Day as hundreds of licensed massage therapists provided almost 2,000 free therapeutic massages in exchange donations of any amount to Susan G. Komen for the Cure Houston Affiliate.

The charity event took place September 10, according to John Leonesio, founder and CEO of the Phoenix-based company that has awarded 671 clinics nationwide.

“All money donated stayed in Houston to help Houston women fight breast cancer,” Leonesio said. “Massage Envy is thrilled about the success of Houston’s first Massage for the Cure Day.”

“Too many women have lived in fear of breast cancer for too long,” he said.  Our partnership with The Komen Foundation raised much needed dollars to fund mammograms and breast cancer research. It is my hope that this annual event will raise awareness about the importance of early detection and early treatment of breast cancer.”

The Houston-based CD/DVD duplication company is a pioneer in the industry, says Robertson.

“We maintain the latest technology,” she says. “Our research shows that we’re the first company in the Houston-area capable of duplicating CD/DVDs overnight on such a grand scale. We’ve made an enormous investment in additional duplication equipment,” says Robertson. “Now we have twice the CD/DVD duplicating capabilities.”
